A chance for me to highlight some of my favorite book quotes! This week's quote is from Please Ignore Vera Dietz by A.S. King.
"If we're supposed to ignore everything that's wrong with our lives, then I can't see how we'll ever make things right."
This quote is unbelievably true. Sometimes we'll just ignore problems in our lives but that doesn't make them disappear. To really deal with our problems we have to face them head on.
If you haven't read Please Ignore Vera Dietz then you really should. Its absolutely fantastic and this quote is just one of the many examples of its awesomeness.
