The Secret Life of Prince Charming by Deb Caletti
Don't settle for second best when it comes to love. You deserve someone who loves you just the way you are. Who isn't going to want to change you. It may take awhile but once you find that someone its going to be worth the wait. Because its going to be real.
The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff
Don't be afraid of who you are. Embrace it. There might be people who don't like you but those people don't matter because there will always be people who love you. The REAL you.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Words can sometimes be the most powerful thing of all.
The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney
Sometimes it can be scary, but you should always stand up for whats right. There will always be someone who listens.
Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen
Sometimes all it takes is a new set of eyes to help you realize that you are beautiful and special. You were all along. Never let people tell you otherwise.
Those are just some of the books that have taught me something important. That's one of the things I love most about books. They can open your eyes to a world of truth that you might not have seen otherwise.

ReplyDeleteLooooove this post! It is so true that there are some books that just stay with you. Let's see...some of my own lessons from books are:
ReplyDeleteDon't want more than you already have, and don't take love for granted (especially if it's a strong, handsome guy who is obviously in love with you). - Gone With The Wind
Just because you know somebody doesn't mean you know what they will do next; people aren't always as predictable as you think. - Stay (LOVE Deb Caletti's books!)
